Overselling problems
Oversell: When an order is placed that exceeds the actual stock in the warehouse, the system does not intercept it in time to ship it, resulting in an oversell.

To process.
1. check in the ERP system to see if this sku is really out of stock (because sometimes FBA has stock, but the logistics colleague will treat it as oversold and not push the order), if both FBA and FBM channels are out of stock, go to the logistics tracking sheet to check the shipping schedule/arrival timeframe.
2. write to the customer, informing them that the item they are buying is out of stock, and provide them with an in-stock product with the same spu for them to choose from + inform them of the arrival time of this sku (wait time within two weeks, wait time over two weeks without mentioning it) + the option to cancel the order.
3. if the customer is willing to change to a product with a sku, modify the sku at both e-store and shopify, and arrange for delivery, case closed.
If the customer is willing to wait until this sku arrives, snooze the email, check the stock in time, arrange the shipment when it arrives, case closed.
If the customer requests to cancel the order, the order is cancelled in shopify and discarded in e-store, case closed.
Amazon order Overselling problem
Handling methods.
USA: 1. cancel the order directly; 2. inform the customer that the product purchased is out of stock and we have cancelled the order, case closed
Other countries: 1. inform the customer that the product is out of stock; 2. let the customer go to the order page to initiate a request to cancel the order, customer service click to agree to the cancellation; 3. system cancel, refund, case closed
Wayfair order Overselling problem
Handling methods.
1. delay the delivery until the sku is in stock and then arrange delivery
2. If the customer writes that he has not received the product, inform him of the specific arrival time, if the customer is willing to wait, postpone the case, and then arrange the shipment for the customer when it arrives; if the customer is not willing to wait, apply for cancellation of the order, the wayfair platform will cancel and refund the customer
Walmart orders Overselling problems
Handling methods.
